Saqlain Mushtaq also reckoned that the country has ability to produce better spinners than him.

Former spinner Saqlain Mushtaq has claimed that Pakistan has immense talent in relation to the game, but needs proper polishing. Speaking ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018, wherein he is a spin bowling consultant with Peshawar Zalmi, Mushtaq urged ICC to help rebuild Pakistan cricket by ensuring steps to bring back the sport in the country. Since the infamous 2009 terror attack in Lahore, Pakistan have hosted a handful of games. They hosted Sri Lanka in a T20I, and World XI in the shortest format in mid 2017.

Speaking to GEO News, Mushtaq told, “Pakistan’s talent in the game of cricket is unstoppable so the world’s cricketing body should help Pakistan to bring back the game to the cricket-loving country.” In addition, he stated that the nation has ability to produce better spinners than him.

Note: Mushtaq is the founder of the much-talked about doosra.

In other news, the third edition of PSL begins on February 22, which will have two of its playoffs in Lahore. The final is slated to be played at Karachi on March 25.
