Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli celebrate the big win at BCCI awards


Virat Kohli was recently conferred with Polly Umrigar Award at BCCI awards 2018. The cheerful pictures of the couple at the ceremony made the fans of the two on the internet very happy. Now, the nation’s beloved couple was spotted in Mumbai heading out for a dinner date. The two were twinning in black and were looking stylish as ever. We love how they always manage to make a style statement even when they are int heir casual most attire. Being fit and healthy certainly helps them look flawless no matter what they are wearing. We are also bowled over by the fact that they are somehow, in some way, always twinning with their OOTD. Earlier, at the airport, they made sure to match their white sneakers. Bunty Sajdeh was also clicked with them heading out of the restaurant they were dining at.

At the award ceremony in Delhi, during his acceptance speech, Virat said he was grateful that Anushka was present with him. “My wife is here today, so makes it more special. The awards didn’t happen last year but I am Happy they didn’t because now she’s here, so we could attend it together,” he had said.

Virat had an excellent 2016-17 season as he scored 1332 runs in 13 games getting an average of 74. And in the limited overs format, the Indian skipper hit 1516 runs in 27 games at an average of 84.22. In the 2017-18 season, Virat had scored 896 runs at an average of 89.6 in six Test matches while in ODIs he averaged 75. Wow!

On the work front, Anushka will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju with Ranbir Kapoor. This will be their third film together after Bombay Velvet and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Anushka is also shooting for her fourth film with Shah Rukh Khan, titled Zero. She has also shot for YRF’s Sui Dhaaga wit Varun Dhawan. The actress was last seen in Pari, a criminally underrated horror film, which she had produced herself.
