World Cup 2019: England beat New Zealand by 119 runs to qualify for semi-finals

England defeated New Zealand by 119 runs in their last league match at Chester-le-Street on Wednesday.
Chasing a huge total of 306, New Zealand were all out for 186 runs in 45 overs in the 41st match of the ICC World Cup 2019.
Batting first after winning the toss, England made 305 for eight with the help of a brilliant century by Jonny Bairstow and a fine fifty by Jason Roy. Both scored together 123 runs for the opening stand after which nobody could make any significant contribution.
For New Zealand, pacers Trent Boult, Matt Henry and James Neesham claimed two wickets each.
