Rohit’s 94 Trumps Kohli’s 92* as Mumbai Register First Win of the Season

Rohit Sharma played a fine knock of 52-ball 94 in Match 15 of 2018 IPL.
The game between Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) turned out to be a one-sided encounter and was comprehensively won by Rohit Sharma’s men by 46 runs. Amidst the dullness, Rohit and Virat Kohli entertained the packed house at the Wankhede with their stupendous display of batting. On a beautiful batting wicket, the visiting skipper elected to chase.

Where Rohit made his presence felt in 2018 IPL with his fine knock of 94 for Mumbai Indians (MI), Kohli played a lone battle chasing 214 slamming 92* for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The visitors started off well leaving MI in state of bother at 0 for 2. Umesh Yadav was back in thick of action after leaking 59 runs against Rajasthan Royals (RR).
However, Evin Lewis (65) and Rohit counter-attacked and RCB never returned back to the game. For MI, Krunal Pandya was the wrecker-in-chief with his 3-wicket haul. Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah handled the pace attack scalping two wickets each to hand MI their first win in 2018 IPL
